The Rainbow Fairy

The Rainbow Fairy
by Isabella Fyfe, age 7

Once upon a time there was a Rainbow Fairy. Her job was to paint the rainbows that covered the sky after it rained.  But she needed rain in order to make a rainbow, so she borrowed a drop of rain from the Rain Fairy.

When it was sunny, she added a drop of rain to the air. The magic raindrop would cause the clouds to form more rain. Then when the sun came back out, she would bring the rainbow out in the sky. She had a paint brush and painted the rainbow bright colors.

She was friends with the Tooth Fairy, the Tangle Fairies and the Animal Fairies. She waved to say “hi” the next time she saw the Rain Fairy, and gave her back the rain magic she had borrowed to start the rain.

Puppy & Kitten Love

I wrote this to enter a little Valentine's Day writing contest at the blog of one of my mommy's friends, Susanna Leonard Hill. I am six years old, so I might be too young to enter officially, but I wanted to try and write for it anyway.
Puppy & Kitten Love
Once upon a time, there lived a stripey kitten named Jynx and a dotty puppy named Spike. They had great fun together. They were given an invitation to go to someone's house for Valentine's Day and they were both very excited about it. They were never, ever, ever afraid to go to anyone's house because they were together and they always looked out for each other. When they were apart, they were never happy. When they got to their friend's party, a lot of their friends told them, "A kitten and a puppy can't be friends," but they didn't listen because they knew they were the best of friends.

Christmas Time

written by Isabella, age 5

There were twin girls who really wanted toys for Christmas, because they were hoping that they would get something new and exciting. They were bored with their old toys, so they gave their old toys away to poor children who had no toys at all.

On Christmas morning, they woke up and quickly ran out to see what they would find in their stockings and if Santa had left them any presents. They found lots of new and exciting toys. They loved their toys so much that they played with them for years and years and never grew bored of them at all.

Princess

My mommy has a book called "How To Draw Princesses." I looked at the pictures and tried really hard to draw the princess in one of the pictures because she was really pretty. I hope you like the princess.
