Puppy & Kitten Love
I wrote this to enter a little Valentine's Day writing contest at the blog of one of my mommy's friends, Susanna Leonard Hill. I am six years old, so I might be too young to enter officially, but I wanted to try and write for it anyway.
Puppy & Kitten Love
Once upon a time, there lived a stripey kitten named Jynx and a dotty puppy named Spike. They had great fun together. They were given an invitation to go to someone's house for Valentine's Day and they were both very excited about it. They were never, ever, ever afraid to go to anyone's house because they were together and they always looked out for each other. When they were apart, they were never happy. When they got to their friend's party, a lot of their friends told them, "A kitten and a puppy can't be friends," but they didn't listen because they knew they were the best of friends.

Christmas Time
written by Isabella, age 5
There were twin girls who really wanted toys for Christmas, because they were hoping that they would get something new and exciting. They were bored with their old toys, so they gave their old toys away to poor children who had no toys at all.
On Christmas morning, they woke up and quickly ran out to see what they would find in their stockings and if Santa had left them any presents. They found lots of new and exciting toys. They loved their toys so much that they played with them for years and years and never grew bored of them at all.
